MEET WIM KOK
Wim Kok (Dutch, 1958) started recently (2020) his financial advisory company after a long career in the banking industry (> 40 years). During his banking career his interest and focus was always connected to the commodity & trade finance industry both in sales and product innovation. Activities in various senior roles, including relationship management, head of department, change management and start up business (internationally). Mainly within Deutsche Bank (1979-1999) and Lloyds Banking Group (1999-2016 including London).
In 2017 Wim started a FinTech innovation within Maersk Netherlands by setting up a Trade Finance Unit from scratch. This was followed by a short tenor within a Dutch licensed boutique bank in the Netherlands (Director Dutch Corporate 2017-2019).
Nowadays he is involved as independent advisory in supply chain management and digitalisation of the logistic industry. Building bridges, simplifying (trade) finance and logistics. Closing the gap between procurement and finance (treasury).
