US phramaceutical giant Bristol Myers Squibb and Dutch brewer Royal Swinkels are two of more than a dozen companies who will share how they are turning working capital into a source of investment and growth at Working Capital Forum Europe 2026.

Taking place at Amsterdam’s Beurs van Berlage on 8 December, the Forum will bring together more than 400 senior decision-makers from corporates, banks, fintechs and consultants, all dedicated to optimising working capital in their organisations.

Royal Swinkels treasurer Mathieu Ummelen will explain how the brewer has used payables and receivables solutions to release cash for investment, international expansion and new brewing capacity. His presentation will examine the programme’s development, results and lessons for other companies seeking to finance growth through better working capital management.

Bristol Myers Squibb’s case study will focus on making cash management a lasting business priority. Sandra Ramos Alves, senior vice president and treasurer, and John-Robert Maguire, senior director, enterprise performance management transformation, will discuss how its Treasury team established a Cash Leadership Office.

The session will explore how governance, supply chain finance and AI-enabled analytics helped connect procurement, receivables and inventory management, embed accountability and unlock cash for R&D and business development. Case study programme

The wider agenda includes corporate presentations from firms such as Coca-Cola Europacific Partners, HRS, De Heus, DSV and LKQ Europe, alongside tracks dedicated to technology and the working capital ecosystem.

Interactive workshop sessions with experts such as Tanweer Alam of Amazon and Matthias Cork of REWE, as well as consultants from EY-Parthenon, will cover operational improvements, receivables financing and the relationship between supply chain finance and group liquidity.

Together, the sessions put practical corporate experience at the centre of a programme exploring how working capital can support wider business objectives.
