Sabbir is a treasury, corporate finance and capital markets leadership executive with 17 years’ experience. He has over £60 billion of transactional experience advising or directly supporting C-suites and Boards of publicly-listed and PE-backed businesses with financial modelling, legal documentation negotiation and due diligence for debt and equity financings, debt refinancings, debt restructures, mergers, acquisitions, carve-outs, divestments, PE-exits, JVs, minority interest investments and derivatives transactions.

He has experience as Interim Head of Treasury for a FTSE 250 listed fashion retailer with £4bn revenue where he led operational treasury and supported the CFO with strategic debt refinancing and restructuring activities; Head of Operational Treasury for a private equity backed FinTech business with £120m annual revenue that was acquired by Mastercard during his tenure; and Head of Structured Debt Finance & Derivatives Solutions for a tier-1 global investment bank where he advised CFOs on cash-flow and asset-backed debt financing and Group Treasurers on cash and liquidity management, investment management and financial risk management of FX, interest rates and commodity exposures.
