After starting his career at Société Générale in 2004, Nicolas quickly joined the investment bank Morgan Stanley, where he held the position of head of FX Sales for FraBeLux, serving the bank’s corporate and institutional clients. He acquired a solid expertise in risk management through foreign exchange derivatives, especially during the 2008 financial crisis.

His move to Santander a few years later further solidified his reputation as a financial market specialist with the bank largest multi-national companies, particularly in emerging markets, cross-border and M&A operations.
