SurePay launched a new feature: The VAT Check

While performing an IBAN Name Check, also check whether the VAT/BTW number provided, matches the company or trade name. This feature is a nice addition to Company ID Check, which checks the Chamber of Commerce (KVK) number.

From now on, you check the validity of all your creditor’s master data that is (mandatory) on an invoice. In addition, you know whether the registered company and bank account are the same – as part of the AML and KYS/KYC requirements.
