Certificate Ceremony International Treasury Management and Corporate Finance Program

This program requires a heavy investment from the participants, who need to pass exams. In addition, to get the Advanced certification, they need to present in the group a case study before the jury (François Masquelier (Simply Treasury and Chairman of ATEL), Benjamin Defays (Senior Associate Vice President at Revantage, and Board member of ATEL) and myself.

On July 1st, 2024, we had the official Award Ceremony at the House of Training. In her opening speech, Muriel Morbé, CEO of the House of Training emphasized:

• The importance of continuous learning and lifelong learning.
• The good cooperation between the House of Training and ATEL, and the involved experts, contributed to the success of the program.
• The international composition of the group, with some participants working outside Luxembourg.
• The modular approach enables to selection of some modules and the spread of the program over more years.

Benjamin Defays gave an interesting testimony about the luck he had that his employer paid him 15 years ago for an expensive program and the fact that now programs like the International Treasury Management and Corporate Finance Program exist at affordable prices.

In Q4 2024, the new Fundamental Course will start and in Q1 2025 the Advanced path.

We foresee an increase of some new topics such as the Transfer Pricing strategy for inter-company transactions, a module “New e-payment methods & Emerging trends in treasury innovation (including AI and machine-learning) and fintech solutions”, a module “Strategic Treasury Leadership and Stakeholder Management”  and a live demonstration of a TMS solution.
