Willem is training lead at Smartenup. Since the beginning of the company, Willem is involved to enable people to develop their data analytical skillset. In the past few years Willem has successfully completed hundreds of consultancy projects in Excel and Power BI. In his time at Smartenup Willem has had a look behind the scenes of a multitude of different companies. As a result, he has gained a broad knowledge of Retail, Finance and Human Resources. By combining his analytical skills with his communication skills, Willem has the gift to create insightful and powerful dashboards that enable clients to take data driven decisions.

The past few years the focus of Smartenup has shifted more and more to training. Since then, Willem is responsible for the team of trainers. In this role he is also responsible for developing the Excel, PowerPoint and Power BI Trainings as well as the Bootcamps and practical trainings such as Problem Solving and Data Visualization. Willem gets a lot of energy from motivating participants to have more impact in their role by showing them how to practically analyze, interpret and visualize data.
