Philip is the cofounder of Automation Boutique, a consulting firm that helps Treasury, Risk and Finance teams work smarter through practical, tailor-made automation. He has been in the financial world for almost 20 years, both on the client side within large organisations and as a consultant. He has been coding since the days when the internet made funny noises and software came on floppy disks.

Automation Boutique has developed award-winning, ready-to-use applications for API bank connectivity, SFTP automation and seamless treasury data integration. Philip works with clients on projects such as connecting banking systems through APIs or secure file transfers, automating cash flow forecasting, and replacing manual processes with tools such as Power Query, Power BI, SQL, VBA, Excel and AI models.

He has also helped treasury teams design, implement and automate TMS workflows, with experience across platforms such as FIS Integrity and SAP. One of the tools he built won the 2020 Best Fintech Solution – Adam Smith Award.

Philip runs training sessions for treasury teams and speaks at conferences, turning complex automation concepts into ideas people can apply straight away.
