Hanan is a young professional originally from Mauritius, who has taken her capabilities to the globally diverse landscape of Belgium. Now a consultant at EY, Hanan specializes in the multiple facets of treasury and financial consultation.

Her journey in the treasury field began when an internship opportunity paved the way to her discovery of treasury. Hanan transitioned from intern to a seasoned professional, working for an international development finance organization where she managed complex treasury functions across 15 jurisdictions. Her tenure spanned multiple development funds in Africa and the Middle East, bringing her noteworthy experience in managing the unique complexities inherent in exotic economies.

In her role of consultant, Hanan aims to help CFOs and Treasurers optimize their treasury operations. She aims to provide guidance that is not just practical, but strategic, factoring in the nuances of ever-changing market dynamics.

Hanan holds a Bachelor’s degree in Banking and Finance from Curtin University, and further amplified her competencies with a Master’s degree in Finance from IAE Paris Sorbonne Business School.

She is now a proud member of the Association of Treasury Experts in Belgium (ATEB), further cementing her commitment to the industry and placing her at the forefront of industry developments and standards.
