MEET Craig Haymaker, CPA

Craig’s mission is to elevate the success, reach and scale of his clients. Prior work experiences have given him a comprehensive view of the risk management value chain, gaining unique perspective from previous roles in the back, middle, and front offices – a path less traveled by a traditional accountant.

Craig’s professional journey spans from staff audit work in public accounting to overseeing sales, marketing, and operations. This holistic view has enhanced his understanding of business dynamics and the customer experience, allowing him to provide value-driven advice to clients. His areas of expertise include financial risk management, technology, value creation, investments, derivatives, audit, and optimizing the utility of client resources.

Think of financial risk management as a continuous lifecycle – moving from top to bottom, from strategic to tactical: risk governance, policy and procedures, systems, people, process, risk response (hedging), documentation, risk measurement and analysis, accounting and financial reporting, and risk monitoring.  Craig can tailor financial risk management solutions for any entity, irrespective of their financial risk maturity or where they are in the financial risk management lifecycle.

Craig’s client portfolio is a mosaic of entities of differing shapes, sizes, and industries – from complex private companies to large scale publicly held entities. He has helped clients to create new financial risk management frameworks or refine existing programs.
