MEET Paul Buck
Paul is a knowledgeable treasury professional with 30 years international corporate Treasury experience. Paul has a significant track record in managing treasury teams, both smaller and larger. But running a treasury as a one-man function is also part of the track record.
Paul has built specific expertise in setting up international treasury functions from scratch or managing larger treasury transformation processes. In-House Banking in the broader sense (from basic cash pooling and banking RFP’s to virtual bank accounts and settling netting activities through the In-House Bank) is Paul’s specialty. Structuring the In-House Bank and the associated Cash Flow Forecasting in the Treasury Management System is part of Paul’s In-House Bank expertise.
Paul is a teambuilder by empowering team members, creating self-regulating teams and a Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach. He is inspired by the opportunity to “put my soul” in the team & Treasury function, and to make a meaningful difference.
His motto is
“The conductor of an orchestra doesn’t make a sound. He depends for his power on his ability to make other people powerful”.
(Benjamin Zander – 1939 – Conductor of the Boston Philharmonic Orchestra).
