Tasks Project & JV Finance Manager
In this role, you are at the center of the international (financial) strategy of our client. You work in a team of 5, divided into two groups (Treasury Operations and Treasury Advisory). As the Project Finance Manager you are part of the Treasury Advisory team and play a pivotal role in guiding strategic business development projects — including investments, divestments, and complex corporate and joint venture financing. Your key responsibilities include:
- Representing the global treasury function in international business development projects and ensure alignment with financial strategy and internal treasury policies;
- Coordinating and implementing various Corporate and Joint Venture Finance activities;
- Structuring new business developments in collaboration with Tax, Legal, and Control;
- Initiating and maintaining key banking relationships;
- Being a trusted advisor on broader treasury initiatives such as digitization, systems, and regulatory developments;
- Stepping in when needed to assist the Treasury Operations team in Cash Management and (FX) Risk Management activities.
Ideal Project & JV Finance Manager
- You have a relevant MSc (additional treasury certifications are a plus) and have around 10 years of relevant experience in treasury, corporate finance, or structured/project finance at a large international company or financial institution.
- You have a deep understanding of capital markets, can structure a deal and understand documentation.
- As a person you are analytical and results-oriented, capable of turning complex issues into actionable solutions. You work well under pressure, communicate effectively across levels and cultures, and are comfortable in dynamic international teams. You combine strategic thinking with a hands-on approach and enjoy being part of multidisciplinary deal teams.
