Who are we

We are Coinmerce, a European cryptocurrency platform with Dutch roots. Our mission is to make crypto simple, secure and accessible to everyone, both individuals and professionals. Coinmerce is registered as a crypto broker with De Nederlandsche Bank and serves customers in more than 10 European countries. In the near future, we will develop new financial products and launch our platform in even more countries. Coinmerce stands for transparency, which is reflected in our office in Schiphol-Rijk. We are working on the future and do this together with our talented and motivated team.

A day in the life of:

You start your day with a nice good morning from your colleagues while you make yourself a fresh cup of coffee. This way you start your day fresh and fruity. At the start of the day you start by mapping our positions on the various bank accounts and crypto exchanges. After providing management with this information, you will proceed with our staking positions. These are located in several places and you must administer them daily in coordination with our financial controller. After lunch you continue with EARN. We have several partners for EARN with whom you have weekly contact. For EARN you are busy enforcing the best percentages and connecting new coins. After you have left the treasure chest in good order, you can have a drink with your colleagues on crazy Thursday during one of the monthly activities.

Responsibilities:

  • Supporting in managing the Coinmerce bank positions and liquidity flows
  • Knowledge of crypto exchanges and the various inflows and outflows that these exchanges entail
  • Supporting in managing and optimizing the staking and EARN products
  • Maintaining partner contacts with our staking and earn providers
  • Drawing up policy documents for processes that directly relate to the treasury processes, as well as the entire finance department
  • Knowledge of forex markets and different hedging strategies

What you bring:

  • HBO and/or WO degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance or something similar
  • At least 2 years of work experience in a similar role
  • Analytical thinking, modeling and presentation skills
  • A sense of which data and reports are important for the organization
  • Ability to work independently but also as a team member
  • Experience with staking and earning is an advantage
  • Proactive, initiative-rich and creative in coming up with solutions and perspectives
  • Strong communication skills in English (dutch is a plus)
