Short description

As a Treasury Consultant, you will support clients in building and/or improving their treasury organisation You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to analyze, develop, and implement treasury solutions tailored to corporate finance, risk and cash management.

Tasks Treasury Consultant

• Conduct comprehensive financial analyses to assess clients’ treasury requirements and identify opportunities for optimization;
• Develop and implement strategic treasury initiatives to enhance funding, cash management, liquidity, and risk mitigation strategies;
• Provide expert advice on treasury best practices, regulatory compliance, and financial market trends to clients and internal stakeholders;
• Collaborate with clients to streamline treasury processes, improve operational efficiency, and maximize financial performance;
• Stay on top of industry developments, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes to continuously enhance service offerings and maintain competitive edge;
• Foster strong client relationships through proactive communication, timely delivery of services, and exemplary customer support;
• Contribute to business development efforts by identifying new opportunities, participating in client presentations, and networking within the industry

We are constantly searching for candidates for a second career step up to director level. Senior candidates are expected to take a more prominent role in client-facing & business development, (multi-)project & people management tasks.

Ideal Treasury Consultant

You hold at least a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; having an advanced degree or professional certification (like CTP or CFA) is a plus. You have two to eight years hands-on treasury experience, either in a corporate setting or within a consultancy environment. Strong analytical skills are a must, enabling you to interpret intricate financial data and offer actionable insights. Your ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with clients and team members is crucial. A result oriented mindset is highly valued.
