Fast-growing international corporate, Rotterdam. Treasury Analyst combines operational treasury work with exposure to strategic financing projects. Hybrid, with 3 d/w office, €70K. Not for those who only want to take care of regular business.

Tasks Treasury Analyst

Our client is in transition, the treasury team is raising the bar and is expected to drive the finance function. Through your analysis and proactivity you can contribute heavily in this. As Treasury Analyst, you will be responsible for:

  • Constant analysis of markets, processes that will be the basis of continuous improvement;
  • Assisting in project finance and local financing initiatives;
  • Acting as a proactive sparring partner within treasury and towards internal stakeholders.
  • Daily cash positioning and liquidity monitoring across the group;
  • Supporting cash flow forecasting, intercompany loans, and parental support structures;
  • Supporting interest rate and FX-related activities in collaboration with senior team members;
  • Maintaining and improving treasury systems, reporting, and data analysis (e.g. Excel, Power BI).

Ideal Treasury Analyst

You hold a Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field and are at an early stage of your treasury or financial career (around 1–3 years of experience is sufficient). You are smart, curious, and proactive, with the ability to operate in a dynamic and sometimes ambiguous environment. You enjoy teamwork, your ego does not hinder your cooperation, and take ownership naturally.

You are comfortable with hands-on work but eager to grow towards more strategic responsibilities. Strong analytical skills and IT affinity (e.g. AI, Power BI) are important. English is the working language; Dutch is a plus but not mandatory.

Remuneration and Process

The expected base salary is 70K, depending on experience.
