Through your legal assistance, you support Belfius Financial Markets (FM) and contribute to the further expansion of our trading room activities in line with our philosophy “Meaningful and Inspiring for Belgian society. Together”.
Your job in a nutshell
You are responsible for legal support within Legal Treasury & Financial Markets.Your main task is to prepare legal advice for FM and its operational departments, draft, review and negotiate FM-related contracts, issuance programs and issuance documents, provide legal support in the development of FM-tailored products as well as monitor developments and changes in financial regulations.Your team is composed of in-house lawyers and legal advisors > and your role in this team is to strengthen and support this team during the internship. You will also be in contact with other departments with whom we work closely.A typical workday looks like: participating in (conference) calls and meetings (internal and external), preparing opinions and memos, conducting legal research, etc. No need to be a rare bird.
