Tasks Treasury & Trade Finance Manager

Reporting to the CFO, you work closely with teams worldwide and are responsible for:
• Defining and executing the organisation’s treasury and financing strategy to ensure liquidity and support business growth.
• Driving continuous improvement in financial processes and systems.
• Overseeing cash flow planning, funding arrangements, and financial risk management across global operations.
• Developing trade finance solutions and maintaining strong relationships with financial institutions.
• Advising internal stakeholders, translating financial concepts into practical solutions for commercial teams.
• Providing leadership on insurance and risk mitigation strategies to safeguard the organisation’s assets.

Ideal Treasury & Trade Finance Manager

You are a versatile finance professional who combines strategic insight with operational expertise. You enjoy working in a dynamic environment where roles are not rigidly defined and value the freedom to shape your responsibilities.

You bring:

• Broad experience in treasury, trade finance, and business finance within an international setting.
• Experience with driving improvements in financial processes & systems.
• Strong analytical and communication skills, able to explain complex financial topics clearly.
• Hands-on attitude with the ability to think strategically.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and an approachable style.
• Professional proficiency in English; Dutch is a big plus.

Remuneration and Process
The salary will be aligned with experience and market standards, indication is €100K but our client is also open for less/more, depending on the seniority of the candidates. The organisation offers flexibility (including part-time options) and opportunities for professional development. The recruitment process includes multiple interview rounds and a site visit.
