About You And This Role
Dow is offering great career opportunities in a global and international environment. The department that will welcome you is Treasury. The Treasury organization consists of Financial Planning, Funding and Financial Operations. These core Treasury activities are instrumental to the operational sustainability of the EMEAI region. The Financial Operations team is responsible for cash management and oversee our intercompany loan relationships and agreements. Financial Planning activities include a broad range of activities centered around understanding foreign currencies transactions and minimizing exposure. The Funding team provides regional financial support for local operations in addition to implementing cost advantaged financing structures within the region.
Project Description
You will be supporting all three teams in Treasury and will learn about capital structure, working capital facilities management, foreign currency exposure, cash forecasting, liquidity planning, intercompany loan management and the challenges of operating a global company across country borders with complex and everchanging regulations. The aim of the internship is to understand and improve Treasury key processes by using analytical and quantitative methods. Besides that, you will get the opportunity to interact with senior finance leaders and other finance subfunctions.
Responsibilities
- Working Capital financing
- Negotiation and renewal of leases
- Banking relationship management
- Reporting to senior management
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics degree or any relevant field.
- Have a good working knowledge of English, other language will be a plus.
- Have excellent Microsoft office skills (MS Teams, Excel, and Word).

- Keen on identifying and driving opportunities for (future) improvements.
- Have good analytical and project management skills.
- Can communicate effectively in a multi-cultural environment.
You can start between February and March in 2025 for a period of 6 months (exact timing to be discussed).
