Vacancy | Deputy Treasurer / Director Corporate Finance – Berlin

In a ten person team, you will be the second in command, and communicate with stakeholders at board level, with the team, and with externals like banks and rating agencies. You connect organizational developments with necessary financial markets transactions and regulatory affairs. Although this is not your first responsibility, you help manage treasury operations, the TMS, interest & FX risk and other corporate treasury functions.

You are the right candidate if you hold a relevant degree and have about 10 years experience in a corporate treasury department. Given your responsibilities, you can present a track record in being the deal captain in corporate finance transactions beyond regular bank financing. As a person you are ambitious, take initiative and make the connection between treasury and the primary process of your company. Speaking German is considered a plus, not a must. Candidates are expected to live in or close to Berlin. Or open to relocate there on short notice.

Our multi-billion client is well known with consumers in the whole of Europe and is rapidly growing. The treasury team has about 10 members and, although the professional level is already quite high, has high ambitions. In order to get there they need an extra, senior, team member who can communicate at board level and connect the strategy of the company to the treasury function. The company culture is informal. HR policies are very modern, working remotely up to 60% is allowed.

Remuneration is structured in a way you see more often in young, modern companies. Indication of the total package €160K with a substantial bandwidth, depending on the seniority of the candidate. Our client is not willing to sponsor a EU work permit.
