Toyota Financial Services is looking for a Treasury Back Office

Key responsibilities

The responsibilities and authority stated below are subject at all times to company policy.

  • Settlement of all treasury transactions (Inter-company loans, swaps, foreign exchange, bank loans, money market investments, Euro Commercial Paper – ECP, US Commercial Paper and Euro
  • Medium Term Notes – EMTNs)
  • Management of the production, circulation, and completion of daily payments
  • Completion of daily verification that all payments have been processed and received at the bank
  • Liaison with banks confirming daily cash flows and confirmations
  • Responsible for all trading activity documentation (manual and electronic)
  • Reconciliation of trading activity to bank accounts and resolution of reconciling items
  • Documentation processing as connected to financial transactions, including intercompany loans and external capital market transactions
  • Ensuring delivery of month-end reports to TFSC for bank facilities
  • Maintain and develop procedures, and associated documentation to ensure compliance with internal and external policies and regulatory environments (such as Sarbanes-Oxley).
  • Administrative responsibilities including banking systems (Barclays, Citi, and SMBC)
  • Assist with the management of bank loan agreements

  • Act as 1st line support for questions
  • Any other appropriate duties as required by

Skills and Experience

Essential:

  • Numerical ability
  • Affinity with Finance
  • Intermediate level Microsoft Office
  • Familiarity with SWIFT Communication
  • Exposure to tight deadlines
  • Structured / applies reason and logic
  • Completion of tasks with quality focus: delivers the task in time and in 1 time right
  • Has an eye for detail
  • is not distracted (working in open space)
  • Fluency English writing and verbal. Main language in the company is English
  • Has a cultural “open mind”

Desirable:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree, preferably in finance or economics
  • Worked with a Treasury Management System (Integrity/FIS)
  • Experience of working in a busy, high volume corporate treasury or bank back-office function
  • Exposure to multi-currency transactions
